The River Hamble is such a beautiful place to see, and much of it cannot be seen from the roadside. Hiring a Paddleboard or Kayak gives you the opportunity to explore at your own pace and not miss out on any of the wonderful scenery.
Hiring is easy. Simply choose your craft, book online and fill out the forms digitally.
Arrive 30 minutes before your booked session to sign in, get changed and watch our safety induction. You will then receive an overview of your equipment and guidance on technique, before carrying your equipment down to the water's edge.
HOW TO BOOK?
Simply click the "Book Now" button on the bottom-right corner of the screen and select the experience you are interested in to proceed with your booking.
Following your experience, you will return to The Paddle Centre with your equipment where you can enjoy coffee, a slice of cake or an ice cream.
RIVER HAMBLE SUP HIRE
From £16 per person (12+ years)
Hire a stand up paddleboard (SUP) from The Paddle Centre by the slipway at Swanwick for an hour or more of exploration!
Why not combine your hire session with a stop for lunch at the authentic riverside pub, The Jolly Sailor or moor up and enjoy a picnic by Manor Farm? Our hire service allows you to book a single hour, or multiple hours, so you can enjoy your experience at your own pace.
RIVER HAMBLE KAYAK HIRE

Hiring a sit on top kayak is one the easiest ways to enjoy the sights and sounds of arguably one of the most beautiful rivers in Hampshire, the Hamble River.
Sat low to the waters surface you can gently meander along, exploring the river and all it has to offer. We offer single and double kayaks, so younger family members can take to the water too (minimum age for a double kayak is 8+ years).
